Day 3/30 of My Nutritional Cleanse

8:00 a.m. alarm

8:45 a.m. guided meditation

I had a later start to my morning today, but I still wanted to start my day energized. So, I figured I would do a little meditation to wake up my brain. I took my yoga mat outside, laid it out in the sun and did some meditation with no pants on. It was great. The meditation I chose was the first thing that popped up when I googled ‘guided meditation.’ I would’ve liked some music to go along with it, but nonetheless, t’was a good start to my day.

9:00 a.m. Ionix Supreme & vanilla shake

12:00 p.m. IsaLean bar in the flavor “nutty caramel cashew”

The bar was a bit dry and definitely chewier than the chocolate peanut butter one I had yesterday. Not my favorite flavor, but I still enjoyed it.

9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. internship

2:30 p.m. lunch

I heated up my leftovers made from last night’s dinner:

  • Chicken breast
  • Quinoa
  • Avocado and onion

Then I added some sautéed squash and onions to jazz it all up.

I love me some squash, man. So easy to cook, too. You can’t really mess it up.

7:30 p.m. vanilla shake

7:45 p.m. workout with @jordynromero

Some people find that exercising after eating food makes them sick. For me, it ain’t that bad. So after I downed my shake, Jordyn and I hit da gym.

Today’s workout was interesting. We were on a time crunch and didn’t exactly have a game plan, but here’s what we did:

Jordyn and I would rotate:

  • Trampoline crunches with 8 pounds
  • 25 bench sit-ups

AB CIRCUIT, 30 seconds

  • Hip dips
  • Push-up downs
  • Shoulder taps

BUTT CIRCUIT, 30 reps total

  • Kickbacks, 15 each side
  • Clams, 15 each side
  • Gluten bridges, 30

RANDOM CIRCUIT, 30 seconds (twice)

  • Mountain climbers
  • Single leg glut bridges
  • Bicycle crunches

Bicycle, level 10, 1 mile (5:03)

Day 3 done, 27 to go!
