5 Outfits You Won’t Believe Are From Thrift Stores

Ladies and gents, it is time to shift to thrift. Here are 5 outfits I came up with mixing some of my favorite thrifties (items found at a local thrift store) with some of the clothes I already had. This post was inspired after I went HAM at United Family Thrift  when they had a 50% off EVERYTHING sale last week. Comment which look is your favorite or any thrift shops you think I should check out!

1. Turtle-y chic

This outfit is turtle-y awesome because it’s comfy, cute and chic. Light washed ripped denim with the light grey sweater and white high tops gives it a classic yet new feel.

Grey turtleneck: $2 (originally $4) from United Family Thrift

Light wash boyfriend ripped jeans (WHICH I RIPPED MYSELF..see the transformation here): $8 from Goodwill

*Topshop white hightops

2. Simple stripes

Black high waisted jeans, striped cropped tee and suede platform sandals. Add a colored lip for the cherry on top of this simple and fun look.

Black/white striped crop tee: $1 (originally $2) from United Family Thrift

DKNY suede platform sandals: $10 from Goodwill

Forever 21 black high waisted jeans

3. I’m down to urth

Men’s faded sweatshirts call for lazy vibes, really ripped jeans and boho bejeweled sandals. Someone get me some Urth green tea boba to go with this super chill outfit.

Men’s hooded sweatshirt: $1 (originally $2) from United Family Thrift

*Zara ripped jeans

Steve Madden jeweled sandals: $3 (originally $6) from United Family Thrift

4. Rad tees n’ ripped jeans

You can never go wrong with a funny graphic tee and blue denim jeans with some character.

‘Real women drink beer’ tee: $1 (originally $2)

High waisted Levi’s jeans: (ALSO cut them myself!): $10 from Goodwill

*Topshop white hightops

5. Edgy floral

All these items are so versatile, but when put together — it’s the perfect casual dressy look for a night out. Feminine and badass all at the same time.

Forever 21 floral long-sleeve blouse: $5 (originally $10) from United Family Thrift

Black ripped jeans (I ripped them myself SURPRISE!): $6 from Goodwill

Steve Madden strappy sandals: $6 (similar style is going for $110!) from United Family Thrift

*Items not purchases at a thrift store
